Factions whose client states a reputation gainWhat the pages say, and what they do not
Every faction page is read from the game client of its version: the name and description the reputation pane shows, where each race and class starts, the cap, the spells and items that grant reputation and how much, and the items each standing unlocks. That is the part no guide can get wrong, and it is what the calculator counts with.
What the client does not hold — quest reputation, reputation from kills, the repeatable turn-ins most grinds are built on — is added faction by faction as it is confirmed in game or in Blizzard's own footage, each with its source.
